KRSA Board wishes Executive Director well in his new endeavors, search underway for new director

October 22, 2021 Soldotna, AK

Kenai River Sportfishing Association (KRSA) Executive Director Ben Mohr has informed the KRSA Board of Directors of his intent to resign effective January 1, 2022 to pursue other professional opportunities in Alaska.

“During his tenure, Ben oversaw KRSA’s efforts to establish historic protection measures for Kenai River king salmon, and developed a unified voice for the sport and charter fishing sectors to help them navigate through the COVID-19 crisis. In addition, with increased membership and participation in KRSA events, Ben leaves KRSA in a strong position for continued growth.” said Bill Eckhardt, Chairman of KRSA.

The KRSA Board thanks Ben for his service and wishes him the best of luck in his future endeavors. The Board has begun the recruitment process to fill the Executive Director role. Information about the position can be found at KRSA.com/careers
